Teams live under Sidebar → Teams, the hub whose four tabs are Teams, Agents, Sessions and Archived. A team is a named group inside one organization: a roster of Agents and people, a manager Agent, the sub-teams beneath it, and the Works, Tasks, Agents, Missions and Ideas it owns. Teams nest, so an Engineering team with Frontend and Backend under it isn't a diagram you maintain by hand — it's the structure the platform already knows.
Reach for a team once you have enough Agents that "which one owns this?" has stopped being obvious. Teams describe structure — Lead, Member and Manager are labels, and who may actually edit a site is granted separately, per Work.
The Add member row takes a type — Agent or Member — a Who picker, and a role of Lead or Member. Human teammates sit on the roster alongside your Agents, and Remove takes anyone straight back off.
Pick a Parent team when you create a team, or re-parent it later in Settings. Children render as cards on the parent page, up to ten levels deep; cycles and over-deep moves are rejected before they land.
Name one Agent as the team's Manager. It shows as a chip in the team header, right next to the parent-team link, and Settings can swap it any time. Reporting lines on either chart come from a different field — each Agent's own Reports to setting — so name a Manager for the org, and set Reports to for the hierarchy.
Attach a Work or an Agent from the Resources section and the team page groups everything it owns — Works, Agents, Missions, Ideas and Tasks. Detaching removes the link, never the underlying item.
Rename a team, swap its manager, move it under a different parent, or delete it from the Danger zone. Deleting moves each sub-team up one level; the roster and the resource links go with the team, while every Agent, person and Work survives untouched.
The hub's Archived tab keeps retired Agents reachable: restore one and it comes back paused, or delete it for good. Archiving is a soft delete, so nobody removes half the org by accident.
Nothing here is a separate diagramming step — both charts render live from the teams and Agents you already have.
The Org Chart button on the Teams page draws the whole organization as one tree: the org at the root, teams nested by parent, then Agents, then people. Drag to pan, scroll or use Zoom in / Zoom out / Fit, and click any card to open that team or Agent. Agents with no team hang off the root, so nothing is quietly hidden.
The Agents tab has its own chart: the same tree with human members stripped out, showing teams and who reports to whom. Each line comes from the Reports to field in that Agent's Settings, so changing a manager redraws the chart immediately.
Teams live inside an organization, so create one from the workspace switcher first if you have not already.
Teams → New Team. Give it a name and an optional description, choose a Parent team or leave it at "No parent (top level)", pick a Manager agent, and hit Create Team. You land on the new team page.
On the Roster, set Type to Agent or Member, pick who from the Who list, choose Lead or Member, and press Add. Mixed rosters are normal — a human lead over three Agents is a perfectly ordinary team here.
In Resources, use Attach a resource: choose Work or Agent, search for it, and attach. From then on "which team owns this site?" has an answer you can look up instead of remember.
Open the Org Chart. Teams, sub-teams, Agents and people are laid out in one tree, with an elbow connector drawn from every parent to its children, and the whole canvas pans, zooms and clicks straight through into whatever you pressed.
You do not have to build the chart a card at a time. Open the workspace switcher, choose Create Organization, and the dialog offers a Start from list alongside Blank organization: a public catalog of ready-made companies at ever-works/orgs. Pick one, press Create from template, and the importer materializes the whole package — the organization, its teams, its Agents (imported paused, so you review before anything runs), its Skills, and a starter project with real tasks already written.
